Pretty darn cool for $10! Solera style Gamay from Verget

Still a little flu-ish. Wanted something lighter and not so challenging. My go to guru McGovern recommended Au Fils du temps, Verget du Sud NV, hell only $10. Clearly Gamay, but done in a solera style. Older vintages of the Gamay left, while new vintages on top. I have to admit, pretty cool sutff.
A meaty nose, rich and dark fruit. The palate is surprisingly light, but again meaty, with dark fruits, raspberry, with pepper. Clean, light, very elegant. Heck for the money it is pretty darn good.
