Chile makes good Sauvignon Blanc
March 10, 2010
Typical Chilean Sauv. Bl. A bright nose of clean grapefruit. A hint of green leaf and bright green grape. The palate is similar. VERY grapefruit, yet the acids are moderate and so the mouthfeel is round and a bit lush with very fresh fruits. The roundness is a bit much for me, flabby to my personal preferances, but the average consumer will LOVE this wine for the easy drinkability.
Served this with broiled chicken and it went well. Oh yeah, you want to know the price. $7.99!! Seriously. Worth every penny.
Drink This Wine
