Rob Moshein - The Austin Wine Guy

Ch. Lassegue Saint Emilion Grand Cru 2004

Nice nose of cherry, berry and cocoa.  Medium body, but a firm solid structure, with more dark cherry and cocoa, berry tones.  Went very nicely with Filet Mignon with lobster Hollandaise. Ok, we were at Jar in Los Angeles, it was Mom's birthday and she's had a tough week, losing her brother just a few days ago. The meal was superb and this wine was a nice part of it. Should be about $35 retail, which makes this a strong value wine.

Drink this wine!

Cheers,
